Film posters update

Spent this morning photographing the posters we catalogued last week. It was wonderful to see the three part billboard poster for Bloodhounds of the Law in all its glory with title, image and production credit. Hoping to turn them into postcards. Peter is certain that Onda didn’t show Bloodhounds of the Law in Preston. Maybe this is why so many have survived unused? Whatever the reason it is great that we have them.

We still have seven rolls of posters to look through, including some featuring Charlie Chaplin that were printed in Preston by Septimus Ward. Still need to find out more about Onda’s relationship with Chaplin. I will be posting more about this soon….
