Will Onda’s cinemas in Preston

Will Onda ran a number of cinemas, a theatre and a dance hall in Preston:

The Temperance Hall, North Road
The Picturedrome at Brackenbury Place (also known as the Brackie or the ranch house).
The Princes Theatre, Tithebarn Street
The Regent Ballroom, Tithebarn Street
Sadly, none of these buildings survive. Fortunately they were photographed. Click on the links to see images of them on Lancashire Lantern.

Do you remember any of these places? If you do, please share your stories here.
